Big B donates Rs 1 lakh for Shwaas fund : Bollywood News

The national award winner Marathi film Shwaas and India's entry to the Oscars for the best foreign language film is striving its way to reach to the Oscar bandwagon. The major hindrance for this low budget film to make up to the Oscars is obviously money. The film requires Rs 1.5 crore for publicity in America among the Academy members, which is a huge amount for this Marathi film, made at a shoestring budget. And in a bid to help this film reach the Oscars, superstar Amitabh Bachchan has donated a cheque of Rs 1 lakh to the fund raising campaign for Shwaas. Even Sunil Dutt has contributed an amount of Rs 50,000 for the film. The film desperately needs more help like this from Bollywood.
