After making some hard hitting films like A Wednesday and Special 26, Neeraj Pandey drifted to producing the romantic film Aman Ki Asha starring Ali Zafar and Yami Gautam. And now, the writer has decided to re-title the film as Total Siyappa.
Apparently, Neeraj was very unhappy with the fact that the initial title could not define the crux of the story well and hence, was in search of a new one. The initial title was based on the character names of the protagonists and Pandey believed that the film had much more to offer. The new title Total Siyappa, according to him, clearly represents the chaos in this love story. The film is set in London where romance brews between Pakistani Punjabi boy and an Indian Punjabi girl and the frenzied conditions that follow.
Total Siyappa is directed by E. Niwas and is slated to release on January 31, 2014.
