Akshay Kumar, the desi James Bond, is back with another khiladi flick KHILADI 420, directed by actor Neeraj Vora. The film co-stars Mahima Chaudhary and model Sudhanshu Pandey, who makes his bow in films with this film, Mukesh Rishi and Sayaji Shinde. A Time Films presentation, the film is scheduled for release on Dec. 29.
Akshay plays a cunning character in KHILADI 420, which is inspired by a Gujarati play MAHA PURUSH. Akshay is reported to have performed a risky stunt, standing atop an aircraft, which is flying at a height of 8,000 ft. from ground level. And he had to stay there for a full four hours, before the shot was eventually okayed.
Mahima plays Akshay's love interest in the film, while Sudhanshu Pandey plays a cop who loves Mahima but the love is strictly one-sided. Meaning, he loves her, but she loves Akki.
It is said that whenever Akshay accepts a role, he always visualises an animal before starting shooting for the character. In the case of KHILADI 420, since Akshay plays a cunning guy, he kept a jackal in mind while performing his scenes.
