Shaapit Is The New Horror Flick On The Block By Vikram Bhatt.Shaapit Is His Third Film In The Trilogy Of 'RAAZ' And '1920'.Shaapit Also Makes Tall Claims Of Scaring the Hell Out Of The Viewer. Shaapit Has An Interesting Storyline. The Concept Is Not New But Still It Seems Engaging. But A Horror Only Succeeds When It Can Scare You Out,And Thats Where Shaapit Scores The Brownie Points. Shaapit Has Some Really Chilling Scenes Which Scare The Viewer And Succeed In Giving The Goose-bumps To The Viewer. Both The Parts Are Simply Engaging. The Story Never Goes Offtrack.Dilaouges Are Good. Background Music Is Truly Haunting. Music Is Superb.Action Is Good.Special Effects Are Fantastic.Cinematography Is Excellent. Direction By Vikram Bhatt Is Superb. He Gets On To A Different Level Altogether.Aditya Narayan Is Superb In His Debut Film. His Acting Skills Very Nourished.Shweta Aggarwal Is Good,However She Is Sidelined In The Second Half.Rahul Dev Has Done A Brilliant Job.Shubh Joshi is Confident.Murli Sharma Is Okay.Nishigandha Wad Is Alright.Manoj Verma Is Okay.Overall,SHAAPIT Is A Truly Scary Movie With An Engaging STory And Decent Performances.!!!!!!

Yeah! it's scary at times but it doesn't haunt you anymore as soon as you leave the cinema hall like 'RAAZ' did. There are two schools of horror movies in India-Ramsay School (Physical Horror) & RGV School (Psychological Horror e.g. Bhoot, Vastushastra Etc.). Shaapit follows the 1st school while 'Raaz' the 2nd. Ghost, in Shaapit is ugly not scary, more like a skeleton. Better Vikram makes movies like 'Raaz'.

Vikram Bhatt's Shaapit is scarier than his previous films Raaz and 1920. The film starred new comers like Aditya Narayan and Shweta Agrawal. Some of the scenes in the film are freaking scary and breath taking. Along with horrors there is also an essence of romance, love, sacrifice and emotions. This is a very interesting story about a boy named Aman [Aditya Narayan] who loves Kaaya [Shweta Agrawal], a girl whose family is cursed that their daughters will never be able to marry. This curse affects the lovers Aman and Kavya after they get engaged. And the couple meets with an accident and come across weird and unbelievable situations. Aman has an urge to fight for his love and save her, meets a man named Pashupathi [Rahul Dev]. Pashupathi knows all about the world of spirits and is the only one who gives a hope to Aman. He teaches him the way to get rid of the spirit and also makes him aware of the dangers in this journey. Some of the scenes were extremely scary like when Shweta finds an old man on the road at late night, the conversation with Maharaja's soul and more. Background sound effects of the film were mindblowing and take the full credit of making it scarier. Aditya Narayan was outstanding, his performance was beyond expectation. Aditya maintained his role very naturally throughout the film. And even Shweta Agarwal performed well in the first half but was not that satisfactory in the second part of it. Last but not the least Rahul Dev and Shubh Joshi also showed great efforts. If you are a horror flick lover then you must not miss this one.

SHAAPIT IS THRILLER OF A KIND. IT'S AFTER LONG TIME THAT HINDI CINEMA HAS GOT A HORROR MOVIE THAT'S NOT RIDICULOUS OR CHEAP. ADITYA NARAYAN HAS DONE A COMMENDABLE JOB INDEED. THE MOVIE IS BASED ON A FAMILY CURSE OF SHWETA AGGARWAL GIVEN BY A BRAHMIN 350 YEARS AGO, WHICH PREVENTS THEIR FAMILY FROM GETTING THEIR DAUGHTERS MARRIED. EVEN IF THEY TRY TO, THEIR DAUGHTERS WILL DIE DUE TO ONE OR THE OTHER REASON. HOW SHWETA'S LOVER ADITYA EMBARKS ON A JOURNEY TO NEUTRALIZE THAT CURSE IS WHAT THE FILM IS ALL ABOUT. SHWETA AGGARWAL LOOKS SWEET. RAHUL DEV AS PARONORMAL PROFESSOR IS FANTASTIC. OVERALL THE MOVIE HAS GOT SOME GREAT THRILLS AND SOME SCENES WILL SCARE THE HELL OUT OF YOU. VIKRAM BHATT HAS DONE A REAL FINE JOB. NOT RECOMMENDED FOR CHILDREN BELOW 15. JUST GO FOR IT AND YOU WOULD NOT BE DISAPPOINTED AT ALL.

Okay, Let's start with Raaz, In raaz there are some dialogues by bips, then song "yeh shehar hai aman ka", then a fight with Aaditya. N then accident and hospital with a safe bips. Now coming to Shaapit. Starts with dialogues of Aadi. Then love scene , song and N then accident and hospital with again a safe girl. Only this much reminds of Raaz... Now shaapit will go on ... n will surely rock you. Not at all boring or time-waste. It's a good time-pass to watch. I watched it 2 times. and loved it. Aadi won't look like a singer. He is looking super cute and genuine actor. Loved it. Go n watch.
