Paathshaala,The New Movie On The Education System. The Film Is Produced By Shaira Khan,The Wife Of Choreographer Ahmed Khan.Paathshaala Starts On A Bright Note But Goes Haywire In The Second Half. The Story Works In The First Half,But The Second Half Is A Complete Letdown. The First Half Has Nice Interesting Moments To Keep The Movie Going. But The Second Half Is Completely Boring. The Climax Is Decent.Dialouges Are Nice.Backgorund Score Is Good.Music Is Of Decent Qulaity. Cinematography Is Just Fine.Direction By Milind Ukey Is Good.Nana Patekar Pitches In A Sincere Performance. His Speech In The Climax Makes An Impact.Shahid Kapoor Is Likeable In The Role. Ayesha Takia Is Complete Natural.Sushant Singh Is Good.Saurabh Shukla Is First Rate.Dwij Yadav Does A Fine Job.Ali Haji Is Excellent.Swini Khara Is Sweet.Avika Gor Is Decent.Nassar Abdulla Is Okay. Shraddha Arya Is Superb.Kainaz Modivala Acts Well. Sushmita Mukherjee Is Good.Sunny Singh Is Natural. Anjan Shrivastava Is Decent,However He Goes Over The Top In Some Scenes.Vicky Ahuja Is Nice. Overall,PAATHSHAALA Has An Interesting First Half But A Completely Boring And Unrealistic Second Half.

Intentions were good, theme was right even the story was okay. But the outcome is not desirable. It again proves that not everybody can make "Tare Zameen Per" or "3 Idiots". It takes something else to make that class. I am surprised that why Avika Gaur (Balika Vadhu) was sidelined.

Paathshaala is an another movie based on education system. After success of Tare Zameen par & 3Idiots Bollywood is really peaking in these subject. Newly two Movies names 'Chal Chalein' and 'admission open' are both related to same subject. Lets talk about Paathshaala. Its an complete entertainer. there are some scenes that really makes your eyes wet. Its an heart touching social drama. Paathshaala also shows,How now a days the education system changing in profession. Schools and colleges are part of profession. These all social topic may become highlight for Paathshaala. Milind Ukey has done fared well job. After making hit animation like Hanuman, he has proved he can also make social heart touching dramas too. Sahid and ayesha has performed well in roles of school teachers, Nana patekar has done decent job in role of principal. Music is really light to listen. Overall, Paathshaala is an complete Entertainer. just go and grab it. don't miss it.

Paathshaala is one such movie, which proves that it requires more than a good intention to make a successful movie which strikes a chord with the audiences and sucks them into the on goings and makes them feel for the characters. It is the movie about the commercialisation of the education system in today's world and the extent to which the management could go to gain attention and to rake in the moolah. The idea is a noble one but what fails here is the writing and direction. From the movie, which stars the likes of Nana Patekar (as Aditya Sahay, the noble principal), Shahid Kapoor (as Rahul Prakash Udhyavar, English teacher cum music instructor) and Ayesha Takia (as Anjali Mehta, The Nutritionist), one has high expectations. But to the audiences disappointment, all of them are wasted and don’t have much to do. The only character that stands out is Sharmaji (the management puppet) played by Saurabh Shukla, gets all the funny lines. The main culprit here is the script which has many loose ends, like the love sparks between the students, the fight between the girl's brother and the boy, the attraction of the teen girl to her teacher, to name a few. Even the editing of the movie is bad. The music and background score by Hanif Shaik is fine. The songs "Aye Khuda," "Teri Marzi," and "Bekarar" are easy on ears. In the end, would say that it would be a crime to even think about comparing this movie with "Taare Zameen Par" and "3 Idiots" which were on similar grounds but were far superior. Only for the earnest idea, I would give director Milind Ukey's Paathshaala a generous two star rating.
