WOW! What a Movie!
I saw New York yesterday, and till now, I can't get over it!...This is by far, the best film I've ever seen..I've never cried while watching a movie but New York brought tears to my eyes (...especially Katrina and John in the last scene)...Although it's a work of fiction but it is as close to reality as it can be.
The story, casting and direction of the movie is superb. Katrina, John and Neil have done full justice to the characters they've played onscreen. John is outstanding in the movie (..his scenes in the detention cell send shivers down my spine!).
Katrina is phenomenal as Maya..I have no words to describe how she's touched my heart (..I love you Katrina!!)
Neil and Irrfan are equally good in their respective roles...Great music and wonderful lyrics make this movie a must watch.
Thank You Yash Raj for making New York and providing us with a real taste of contemporary cinema.
I wish New York all the luck and may it become the biggest hit of all times.
