the director have waisted a great starcast and a good budget of the produser. not having anything i have seen directors making a good movie but having everything and did not make a good movie thats realy sad. please please take a good look at yr action scenes plus your end sequence common yah how much ever luck a person has, running on top of the train and machine guns been fired but still you can escape that is what i called making a 1980 movie.

Wow. i don't understand why people are comparing this movie with Dhoom 2. First THIS MOVIE IS ANOTHER COPY OF HOLLYWOOD. The Condemned and Death Race. The acting sucks, and the stunts are no way near or good as dhoom 2. Only person i think did a good job was Ravi Kishan. I'll give one star for ravi kishan Come on Bollywood Wake up, and stop coping movies from hollywood.

Well luck is an movie i was waiting since i knew it was announced. Courtesy such a big starcast which first time come together plus imran khan and a beautiful new lady. U surely know who i m talking about. So as an action movie it was good as it has some of never before scene stunts as promised by the director. So does luck meets the expectations of audiences. So the answer is yes and no also. As this film will be only be taken by the teenagers and youth who crave for actions, thrills in bollywood movies. It has nothing to offer for above the age group of 50 and below 10. The concept is not new as it is used in hollywood movies before. As for the performances Sanjay Dutt was excellent, Danny & Mithun were top-notch with their superb dialogues, Ravi Kissen was very good as the psycho criminal. Chitrashi was as always good. For Shruthi their is lot more to go but she delivers a confident performance. As for Imran Khan he is the showstopper here, he is developing with each of his film. Watch this youngster taking huge strides and taking every action scene confidently. Only thing i was disappointed was with the climax which could have been more convincing. Luck will be hit or flop that 1 cant tell but it was overall a good watch.

WHAT A WASTED OPPOPRTUNITY !!! That's the first thing that comes to mind when the end credits roll…  

WHAT A WASTED OPPOPRTUNITY !!! That's the first thing that comes to mind when the end credits roll of this 2.5 hours movie. Director Soham Shah's second outing after the terrible Kaal, is Luck. A word we're not allowed to forget during every frame of the movie. The script had it been fine tuned, had solid potential to be a gripping thriller. But alas, it falls flat on its face and reads like C grade hollywood flick - which isn't saying much.. The problem with luck lies in its treatment. Style and visuals are meant to compensate for a no brainer of a script (courtesy Soham Shah). The action sequences which are supposed to be the highlight of this film, are woefully inadequate with pyro dominating the show. Ropes, wires and then some more ropes and wires (Kindly reinvent yourself Mr Allan Amin). The music is hummable but doesn't really contribute. Now coming to the performances - Sunjay Dutt sleepwalks through a role he's done a dozen times before. Imran Khan is suffering from his 'KIDNAP' hangover. If he continues this way, he has a solid chance of being this generations Sunil Shetty. Atleast that guy's improved!! Shruti Haasan - lovely screen presence but an absolutely wrong choice for a debut vehicle because there's no scope for acting. Can't really blame her. Stalwarts, Mithun & Danny are dependable. Chitrashi rawat & Ravi Kishan are the 2 people who lend some credibility to their respective roles. I tremendously enjoyed listening to the foreigners speak Hindi. Considering that the movie's premise is set in betting on a global scale, the fact that practically every conversation, be it with a foreigner or Indian is done in Hindi, kind of makes me proud to be an Indian... To summarise, if you want to watch an absolute gripper of a movie, i recommend that you rent A Wednesday instead of wasting money on this opulent mess of a movie. You know what they say, third time's a charm. Hope it turns out 'Lucky' for you Mr.Soham Shah.. Pun Intended.

as a action fan i must say its the best action movie after doom 2. I watch this movie online,cuz am living in germany and the bollywood movies are not presented at german cinemas too much, of course the quality was not the best, but i imagine if i wud be in cinema i'll enjoy it much more. Ok to the film: very good action, music is good, new story. Sanjay is like always excelent in/as underdog roles, Imran very good, i find his character was to much serios.Mithun Da as always excelent, at his age find him very fit and he looks still jung, keep it up Dada, Shruti superb and sexy,Danny perfect and other actors are superb to. PAISA VASUL MOVIE i wud say
