Overall I would give 1.0 star to this movie. Good Parts: Only hrithik's acting. Bad Parts: 1. Rajesh Roshan's music does not work in this generation's music composers like A.R. Rehman, Pritam, Salim-Suleman. Overall a average music in this movie. 2. Weak story writing. There's no exciting moments in this movie which makes you fasten your seat belts. 3. Spanish to hindi language translation thru texts makes movie boring after first 30 minutes. 4. Weak climax. 5. Not a good direction from Anurag Basu as compared to his previous blockbuster movies. 6. Barbara Mori can't act in Bollywood. She seems a very low average actor. She's not a next Katrina Kaif. Overall I personally felt movie was overhyped and they did over publicity before the release. Taran Adarsh gave 3 star to the movie, but it does not deserve more than 1 star and even 1 star goes to Hrithik's performance.

I watched at UAE b4 India Release. Story was interesting. Hiritck was not confident up to killing + forgiving scene. Then he took momentum. In last scene he was amazing…superb. Barbara Mori acted well in few scenes otherwise she looked chawal (awful movement of her jaw). Worth for one-time watching.

This movie is beautiful! Everyone frame speaks a thousands words. The chemistry between Hrithik Roshan and Barbara Mori is exceptional! The story is good but the performances are soo moving its magical! This movie is bollywood taken to another level and I don't think a movie has even come close to matching Kites. It's a movie that moves away from the masala bollywood films and makes a stand that the tacky bollywood days are over! Its amazzzzzzzzing!- the songs are out of this world! The locations are mesmerising! This movie is subtle but says a thousand words and the climax is brilliant!!! One is moved to tears! Strongly recommended for those who want to see bollywood being brought into the 21th century!! LOVED IT!! KITES- THE BEST MOVIE OF THE YEAR SOO FAR!

It could have been a timeless classing given the canvas,the cast and crew, and the potential of the story, but I was disappointed. It wasn't terrible, but not as good as a movie of that level should be. My main issue with Kites was the treatment of the villains. I felt like everyone was so caught up in the love story they forgot to give credibility to the villains and give them a proper culmination. That was an issue because villains play a huge role in the love story. That new guy who plays the villain is very difficult to take seriously. Also I wasn't a big fan of Kangna coming out of nowhere in the end. Overall Hrithik is AMAZING and so is Barbara,and the movie does have some great moments,but overall not as good as I expected. Also the leading tabloid got the ending fairly right!

I almost made up my mind that I wouldn't need to write anything about this moviebecause what I saw and understand about the movie is the movie was amazing. People have been criticizing about the story why the charaters are half baked (such as Kabir Bedi and Kangana), they are criticizing the story, they are criticizing almost about everything because people can't understand the concept of simple but complicated story. Love has no boudaries that have been tag line for tags since they come up with the ideaand it was justifilble. I do not think you can't justify love or love story. I don't know have you guys watch enough love stories yet, remember titanic. Ok, I agree with the part that it has very known story but a movie is always about prsentation. I think this movie excels when it comes to presentation, look at the acting, visuals, ending, starting, it's all perfect. Please if you have problem understanding the movie you have issues because if something like this presented so beautifully try to appreciate. I bet if WIll Smith does the same movie in english you will be like wow amazing. So stop being a hypocrite. i also see a pattern which is really funny. pople with sharuk khan fan name or name reviewed this movie really bad. Look I love SRK but it doesn't mean I have like only him. You gys really dumb who cricized the movie so bad. I personally would give this movie five star but if I am a serius critic I would still give it atleast a full four.

Does this Kite FLY. I do not think the movie was mad with a lot of brain but into it. I watched the movie last night in NJ. At the end few people claped. I was thinkig why they were claping and they go "Thank god this movie is over". People walking out didnt not like it and I was almost in that same boat. I love HR and Mori but they did not have that many hot scenes in the movie. HR acting is at par and so it Moris. I think the action is the best part of the movie. This movie tugs at the heart way too much. I think sometimes it went over board. CROSSOVER film I hear about Kites. Well Mexican will watch it and Spanish people becuase I saw them there last night. The collections will be good in those areas. It might make alot of money there but I do not think it is a Crossover film in any respect. At the end Kites is wortha one time watch. Two and a half to stars as the movie is average. LV was the same thing they show the water show and I already have seen that. THe strip I have walked it. I have gambeled almost everywhere there. I will be going there again not so cool about the location. I guess it is for people that have never been to LV. I guess i like the parts that are not shot there.
