Sajid Khan movies promise entertainment , entertainment and only entertainment and Housefull 2 is no exception ! it defies logic and just entertains ! Sequel to the 2010 'Housefull' , Housefull 2 has the same story line- Amusing Characters , Confusing Situations and Hilarious Sequences ! Housefull 2 has a very ordinary first hour ! there are some entertaining scenes but some jokes just fall flat on the face ! however the second half is a full fun filled ride ! each and every scene is entertaining ! the climax is hilarious ! Dialogues are lame but funny ! background score is in sync with the mood of the film ! action is enjoyable ! music is decent ! cinematography is good ! Direction by Sajid Khan is first rate !
he narrates a pretty ordinary first half but injects humour in every scene in the second half ! There are number of characters in Houseful 2 but Akshay Kumar stand out with his hilarious performance ! the actor makes an ordinary scene extremely funny with his superb comedy timing ! you are most entertained when Akshay is onscreen ! John Abraham tries to make you laugh and even succeeds but he is awkward at places ! Ritiesh Deshmukh is superb as usual ! Shreyas Talpade is good ! Asin leaves an impact ! Jacqueline Fernandes is good but awkward at times ! Shehzahn Padamsee and Zarine Khan are fine ! Mithun is Terrific ! Boman Irani is truly funny ! Rishi Kapoor And Randhir Kapoor lend good support ! Chunky Pandey is Good ! Johnny Lever is the real scene stealer ! Ranjeet shines in his cameo ! overall, Housefull 2 is an entertaining film with an ordinary first half but a hilarious second half !
