Well all the other reviews which are -vE must have been from those who are not willing to accept any new thing... BLUE sets benchmark in many things... cinematography, action sequences, underwater sequences... but it seems our audience wants to see only those type which is 3 hrs long and drag on... though the 1st half is kind of boring other than the chase sequences... THE film score in the 2nd half...

this is for u taran adarsh u better give me back my money . i went for the movie reading your review ,my god how can u say such wonderful things about blue ,did u and i watch the same movie or did u get loads of cash for writing such a good review (my guess is the latter). i have never seen such a boring , stupid ,idiotic movie in my whole life .there is absolutely no story at all, no flow at all. even the sanjay dutt's flash back is a damp squib,i was actually waiting for something after u said it was incredible . my dear Sunjay Dutt either u shape up or sit at home , u r really old for this movie ,Zayed Khan - when will u learn acting (i thought u had by now),katrina kaif that stud in ur chin looked like a huge zit(which was very distracting),Akshay Kumar- man if u r bored with the script then dont take it , And finally Lara dutta (nothing to say ).

BLUE....doesn't give what is expected out of it. It is just a combination of TORQUE, INTO THE BLUE and another hollywood film. The stunts are performed well, could have been better and the screenplay is not upto the mark. The twists and thrills are quite predictable. Akshay has done a fantastic job. Sanjay should not try his hand in action now. Lara is amazing. Zayed has performed well. Katrina was hardly there. On the whole, you should wait for its TV Premier of this film.

While most movie critics have done their job of dissecting BLUE to be a directorial disaster and having a weak story line, what they have actually done is to benchmark it to a typical Bollywood movie. How many of the present lot of directors would think of having the lead star without a heroine for the entire length of the movie, and go all out to make a movie that we would love to have but only if offered by a Hollywood director not from a ‘desi’ director. While Indians have liked Jaws and Titanic, National treasure was a big hit, no one questioned the logic behind the story or any of the scenes, but, when a desi director does international quality work, everyone sits up and puts in their two bits of opinion. A great man had once said– Opinions are like belly buttons– everyone has one. The so called critics are making comments more on a personal front with some critics giving it bad reviews only because their competitors have raved about it or because they share a bias or loyalties as you may call it to certain producers. In BLUE the underwater sequences are beautiful, the bike races world class, the actors especially Lara and Akshay look stunning and very different from their earlier movies. Overall the movie is visual treat and you can sit back and enjoy the scenic beauty of Bahamas. As a movie buff all I can say is every movie is special, you got to go figure for yourself and stop being a football of other people’s opinions.

Blue is merely an average movie..it's an over hyped movie....it has no substance..In the first half they just tried some "bollywood masala"...but it was really pathetic....Second Half was ok....because the movie actually started in in the second half... the movie will perform well at box office..it's Diwali time..

‘Duniya Ka Sabse Bada Nasha – Risk.’ This is a dialog in the film Blue, and if you take out how much of the producers’ money was risked in the film, there is no other risk taken. With that kind of a theme, Blue could have easily been made into a great underwater adventure film with some risks (and of course some thought too). The people involved in the film were only interested in money whether it is earning it or spending it. After watching Blue, one can say that the dialog written above is wrong and Duniya ka sabse bada nasha isn’t risk but paisa.

Anybody hearing the narration of this story would know instantly that the soul of the film is the TREASURE HUNT, and thus the film should focus on that portion more. But the problem with an underwater adventure is while you are under the sea you can’t say anything. So the film has to be dialog-less for that period of the film. Thus it is a risk to make the hunt the focus of the film, if at all the audience loses interest in the hunt, the entire film loses out then and there. But how good is to sacrifice the soul of the film for not taking a risk!!!!! Anthony D’ Souza prefers not to take the risk and instead of concentrating on the hunt, he concentrated on the bare tattooed body of Akshay Kumar, stunts, bikinis, vulgar humor and Kylie Minogue!!!!!! BAD OPTION Mr. D’ Souza. You ruined the entire film just to avoid the risk and thereby killed the soul of the film.
