Prakash Raj underwent shoulder surgery, thanked his fans for their support and prayers

Prakash Raj, an actor and filmmaker, had surgery to fix a fracture in his left shoulder. According to reports, Raj fell and injured himself at his Kovalam house.

The actor posted a photo of himself from his hospital bed on Twitter, “The devil is back… successful surgery.. thank you dear friend Dr #guruvareddy and thank you all for your love n prayers.. back in action soon.”

 

 

 

Prakash Raj recently wrapped a schedule in Puducherry for filmmaker Mani Ratnam's next epic opus Ponniyin Selvan. The film is based on the same-named historical fiction novel by legendary writer Kalki Krishnamurthy. The epic novel, set against the backdrop of the Chola Dynasty, was adapted for the big screen by Ratnam and writer B. Jeyamohan, who also wrote the film's dialogues. Aishwarya Rai, Vikram, Trisha, Karthi, Jayam Ravi, Lal, Sarath Kumar, Jayaram, Vikram Prabhu, Prabhu, Ashwin Kakumanu, Kishore, and Aishwarya Lekshmi also act in the film alongside Prakash.
