Janhvi Kapoor reveals she ‘manifested working with Jr NTR’ in Devara
While Jr NTR always enjoyed a massive fan following in the Telugu industry, the grand international success of RRR has now garnered him fans across the world. Many have shared their admiration towards his hard work and performances in films over the years and the current addition to this list of admirers is the young actress Janhvi Kapoor who, in the past, has also expressed her desire to work with him. Her dream is now fulfilled since the actress is paired alongside him in the upcoming Pan India film Devara, directed by Kortala Siva.
On living her dream of working with Jr NTR, the actor said, “I really manifested working with Jr NTR so much I think for one year I was like ‘please mujhe mauka mile mujhe mauka mile (please give me a chance, please give me a chance)’ and finally it's happening!" Post a short break, Jr NTR has begun shooting for the next schedule of the film, which involves a massive water sequence and will be filmed in Hyderabad.
Directed by Koratala Siva, Devara stars Jr NTR and Janhvi Kapoor, along with Saif Ali Khan. The popular actor will be making his South debut with this action entertainer. The film is produced by Yuvasudha Arts and NTR Arts and presented by Nandamuri Kalyana Ram. The film will be released on April 5, 2024. Anirudh Ravichander has composed the music for the film, whereas, R Rathnavelu was the cinematographer. Subu Cyril has been hired as the art director, and Sreekar Prasad has been hired as the editor.
On the Bollywood front, Janhvi Kapoor was last seen in the Varun Dhawan starrer Bawaal. She also has Mr. And Mrs. Mahi with Rajkummar Rao as well as Ulajh with Gulshan Devaiah in the pipeline for release.
