EXCLUSIVE: “Ajith has this North Indian look which will help him connect with the audience all over India”, says Boney Kapoor on audience' response prediction on Valimai

Filmmaker Boney Kapoor has recently served as producer for the Tamil film Valimai which stars Ajith Kumar and Huma Qureshi. While talking about the film, Boney Kapoor talked about Ajith’s charisma that will help him connect with the Indian audience.

In a recent excusive sit down interview with Bollywood Hungama, the Valimai producer said, “Valimai has Ajith’s charisma in it. He works big time in Tamil Nadu and I’m sure and hopeful, keeping my fingers crossed, that he connects well with the northern audience too.”

 

“He has this north Indian look. His mother is Sindhi and his father is Malayalam, so he has that north Indian look, so hoping that he connects with the well with the audience,” he added.

 

Kapoor further talked about the film's craze and says that he's keeping his fingers crossed. He also talked about Ajith Kumar's craze and says that we don't get to see such craze for Bollywood stars. He talked about the difference in Bollywood audience and South audience as well.

 

Valimai is scheduled for release on 24 February.
