Director Vivek Ranjan Agnihotri recently took to social media to share a valuable lesson he learned from acclaimed director Shekhar Kapur. Reflecting on his journey and the wisdom gained along the way, Vivek shared a moment of learning from Kapur. Recounting the incident, Agnihotri revealed how he, coming from an advertising background in Delhi, found himself on the sets of Shekhar's film Time Machine at Famous Studio.

In his post, the filmmaker recalled being in awe of Shekhar's directorial finesse while observing the set quietly. Despite Kapoor's soft-spoken demeanour, Vivek gleaned a crucial lesson: the importance of not compromising on one's vision. He wrote about the significance of giving love, respect, and time to one's team to achieve high standards in filmmaking, drawing parallels between the collaborative nature of filmmaking and life itself.

 

 

 

Speaking of the professional front, Vivek recently announced his upcoming project, Parva. Based on the acclaimed Kannada novel by S. L. Bhyrappa, Parva offers a modern retelling of the epic Mahabharata, narrated through the personal reflections of its principal characters. The novel has received widespread acclaim as a modern classic.
