The love story of Sidharth Malhotra and Kiara Advani has become a point of discussion among fans once again. The actor is currently in the midst of promoting his forthcoming film Thank God which also stars Ajay Devgn and Rakul Preet Singh. The actor appeared as a guest on the dance reality show Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa where Karan Johar, being one of the judges, teased the actor about his relationship with Kiara Advani. Interestingly, a lot was discussed about it during the chat show Koffee With Karan Season 7.

In one of the promos shared by the official social media handle of the channel Colors, we can see Karan Johar questioning Sidharth Malhotra about his ‘Raatan lambiyan’ (long nights). In a true Shershaah style, the actor responded to the question saying, “ ‘Ranjhan’ hoon toh hogi hee” (I am a lover, so it’s obvious… isn’t it!). For the uninitiated, the cryptic conversation was actually reference made to the songs ‘Raatan Lambiyan’ and ‘Ranjha’ which were popular romantic chartbusters from the film Shershaah that featured Sidharth Malhotra as the leading man and Kiara Advani playing his love interest.

 

Karan Johar did not end at that! The teasing session went on as KJo asked him to complete the sentence, “Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi with…” He also further listed out options of actresses saying, “Aaj Kal humare bahut saare top heroines hain… jaise Katrina jinke ke saath aap kaam kar chuke hain! Deepika jinke saath apne ads kiye hain. Kiara Advani… jinke saath…” (There are a lot of top actresses these days, Katrina with whom you have worked, Deepika with whom you had done a lot of ads.. After the Koffee With Karan 7 episode, while it was observed that their relationship remains to be one of the popular ‘open secrets’, there are also several speculations about their impending wedding that has started doing the rounds. However, neither of the actors have commented on the same.

 

On the work front, besides Thank God, Sidharth Malhotra also has Mission Majnu and the Amazon Prime web-series Indian Police Force in the pipeline.
