Shah Rukh Khan watches Pathaan with wife Gauri Khan and children Suhana and Aryan Khan; photos from private screening go viral

Pathaan is all set to release in theatres in less than two weeks of time. The film marks the comeback of Shah Rukh Khan after four years. The film will hit theatres on January 25, 2023. Before that happens, Shah Rukh arranged a private screening of the film for his family on Monday at the Yash Raj Films’ office.

Last month, Madhya Pradesh Speaker Girish Gautam had raised objections to Deepika Padukone's saffron bikini in Pathaan trailer. Speaking to NDTV, Girish said, "Shah Rukh should watch this film with his daughter, upload a picture and tell the world that he is watching it with his daughter”. On Monday, King Khan watched the film, with not just his daughter Suhana Khan, but also his wife Gauri Khan and elder son Aryan Khan. Gauri's mother Savita Chhiber and Shah Rukh's sister Shehnaz Khan were also spotted at the screening of the film.

 

 

The family arrived in the evening for the special screening at the YRF office. Shah Rukh wore a light-coloured casual top paired with blue pants along with beaded necklace. Aryan opted for white casuals while Suhana chose to wear a tracksuit.

 

 

Soon after the trailer of the film was released, it had garnered massive attention and made headlines. Before that, politicians objected to Deepika's saffron bikini in the song ‘Besharam Rang’. Some also objected to the film's title which hints at a particular community. However, the CBFC (Central Board of Film Certification) has passed the film after adding some changes to it.

 

 

The makers of the film are leaving no stone unturned and putting all their effort in the film promotions. Shah Rukh Khan was busy promoting his film in Dubai. Recently, the trailer of the film was screened on the tallest building of Dubai, i.e., Burj Khalifa. The actor recently returned back to India.

 

Pathaan is part of Aditya Chopra’s ambitious spy universe and has the biggest superstars of the country Shah Rukh Khan, Deepika Padukone and John Abraham in it. The film is set to release on January 25, 2023 in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu.
