Sahil Uppal quits Pandya Store; actor pens emotional note

Pandya Store has been focusing on the life of Natasha Pandya and the other cousins including Chiku, which is played by Sahil Uppal ever since it took a generational leap last year. After the Pandya brothers and their wives lost their lives, the Pandya kids are trying to retain their store as Suman raises them with Indian family values. Sahil Uppal, who has been garnering immense love for his portrayal of Chiku aka Yashodhan Pandya, is expected to leave his fans disappointed as he bids adieu.

In an earlier interview with a portal, the actor had confessed that he decided to quit the show after a long discussion with the makers because he was unhappy with the decreasing amount of screen space for his character. And now, Sahil Uppal took to social media to share photos from the sets of the popular Star Plus show as he seems to have wrapped up his final day of shoot. Sahil, who was paired alongside Esha Das, who plays the role of his onscreen wife Esha Makwana Pandya, also penned a heartfelt note as he bid farewell to the show and explained why it will always remain special.

 

Sahil wrote, “Some goodbyes are hard! The journey was short but a great and memorable one! I had a blast shooting with my lovely cast and crew, everyone involved in this show is a gem of a person…best crew ever. Would specially like to thank @official_sphereorigins and @starplus for giving me this opportunity! Chiku Master Signing off”. Many of his co-stars like Rohit Chandel aka Dhaval Makwana, Shabaaz Abdullah Badi who plays the role of Bhaven Makwana, and Roshan Kapoor who plays Rishank Pandya, dropped messages where they expressed that they will be missing the camaraderie they shared with Uppal on the show.

 

 

Pandya Store, which is focusing on the story of Makwana family, is currently focusing on the lives of Natasha Makwana aka Priyanshi Yadav and Dhaval Makwana aka Rohit Chandel and their marital trials and tribulations.
