Sachin Tendulkar 51st birthday: Shah Rukh Khan, Riteish Deshmukh and others wish the ‘God of cricket’
Sachin Tendulkar is a sportsman who has won the hearts of practically every resident in the country. With his pure brilliance and enthusiasm for the game, the legend not only left an indelible impact on the world of cricket, but also on our hearts. Even celebs cannot stop gushing about the ‘God of Cricket’, as he is fondly known. Today is Tendulkar's 51st birthday. So, here’s having a look at how people from the film industry and fellow cricketers wished him on his special day.
Parthiv Patel, the former Indian cricketer, wrote on Twitter, “Happy Birthday Master Blaster! Have a blessed day and hope the year ahead is full of adventures, laughter and happiness.” Former cricketer and current commentator Aakash Chopra also tweeted, “Happy Birthday Legend. Hope you have a fantastic year ahead. Love and respect, always.
Harbhajan Singh who has a close bond with Sachin, posted some photos on Instagram and wrote, “Janamdin ki bohat bohat shubhkamnaye paaji ! Bohat bohat pyar sarkar. Ishwar aapko lambi aayu aur dher saari khushiyan de.”
Shah Rukh Khan is a Bollywood superstar with millions of admirers. But he is a self-proclaimed Sachin admirer. He wrote a special post dedicating his song ‘Jabra Fan’ to the cricketer. SRK wrote, “Umpire kuch bhi kahe, mere liye toh u wil always b not-out! I am ur Fan. Jai Maharashtra!”
