The trailer of Tere Ishk Mein, directed and produced by Aanand L Rai, Bhushan Kumar, Himanshu Sharma and Krishan Kumar, has sparked a wave of excitement across the film fraternity. After receiving appreciation from Sandeep Reddy Vanga, the film has now caught the attention of filmmaker Ram Gopal Varma, who is known for expressing unfiltered opinions and rarely handing out compliments unless deeply impressed.

As the trailer dominated social media timelines with its haunting visuals, emotional intensity, and the unmistakable musical imprint of AR Rahman, Ram Gopal Varma took to social media to share his reaction. The filmmaker wrote, “LOVE THIS… @arrahman sounds GRAND and INTENSE…”, praising the score that many fans believe elevates the entire narrative tone of the film.

 

 

Earlier, director Sandeep Reddy Vanga had also amplified the trailer with a strong endorsement, writing, “Intense !!! Feels like Dhanush just reclaimed his throne.... CONGRATULATIONS.” His reaction set the stage for an industry-wide buzz that continues to grow.

 

 

The trailer, unveiled last night by makers Aanand L Rai and Bhushan Kumar, offered a gripping first look into the world of Tere Ishk Mein. With Dhanush portraying the anguished yet intense Shankar and Kriti Sanon stepping into the emotionally complex role of Mukti, the film introduces audiences to a story built on love, rage, longing, and heartbreak. The trailer gives glimpses of signature Aanand L Rai elements like dramatic emotional beats, grounded characters, and atmospheric visuals, including winter-soaked frames of Delhi, intense close-ups, and symbolic imagery that hints at the film’s thematic depth.

 

An A.R. Rahman musical with lyrics by Irshad Kamil, Tere Ishk Mein promises to blend performance, poetry, and passion into a cinematic experience. Starring Dhanush and Kriti Sanon, the film is set to release worldwide in Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu on November 28, 2025.
