Kajol gets ready to take a fight of The Good Wife; drops the first look for the debut series
After Saif Ali Khan, Pankaj Tripathi, Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Richa Chaddha and many others, now actress Kajol is also ready to mark her debut in the world of web series. Interestingly, the actress has commended the shoot of her debut web series, titled The Good Wife.
To share the latest development, the Kuch Kuch Hota Hai actress took to her verified social media handles and shared a 25-second-long video. In the video, Kajol can be seen getting ready as an advocate. After taking a brief walk in the shoes of a lawyer, the actress faces the camera, and says, “Shuru Karein (Shall we start)”.
In the next second, we see the screen featuring the title of the series, The Good Wife, Pyaar, Kanoon, Dhoka. At the bottom, “now filming” appears in capital and bold letters. A part of her caption for the post read, “Pyaar, Kanoon, Dhoka - a fight of #TheGoodWife”.
For the unversed, The Good Wife is an official remake of an American legal and political drama of the same name. The seven-season series revolves around the life of Alicia Florrick, who resumes her career in law after her husband's infamous public s*x and political corruption scandal.
Earlier, in an interview with Pinkvilla, Kajol shared her opinion on doing long-format content on OTT, “Exploring new formats is always a challenge, but it's a great thing as I love to take challenges head-on. Being an avid fan of digital series, the concept has always been intriguing; and after following cool shows such as Aarya and Rudra, I knew there was no other platform than Disney+ Hotstar to start my series journey.”
