With Dhurandhar The Revenge, Jio Studios has strategically expanded into non-traditional international territories and the results are exceptional.
In Finland, a market where Indian films typically gross just €4–5K, the film has already surged to an impressive €36K in its first week, underlining its breakout appeal.
The popularity of the film could be attributed to the growing local interest sparked by Finland’s President, Alexander Stubb, who had watched the Dhurandhar (2025) on his son’s recommendation ahead of his March 2026 visit to India. He had praised the film’s and expressed enthusiasm for its sequel. His interest in the film had generated significant excitement online, further amplifying the film’s visibility in the market.
Beyond Finland, the film has also been released across emerging markets like Ukraine, Romania, Chile, Mexico, and Cyprus, continuing to unlock new audiences.
