Deepika Padukone brings forth six-yards of unwavering grace in ethereal Sabyasachi Mukherjee saree for TIME100 Impact Awards in Dubai

Deepika Padukone, was conferred last night with the TIME100 Impact Award. The award show is recognition of leaders who, through sustained effort, have done extraordinary work to shape the future of their industries and the world at large. Joining these leaders including scientists and CEOs, artists and activists, pop stars and politicians, was Deepika Padukone whose recognition was dual-pronged, for films and mental health advocacy. The actor, producer and philanthropist travelled to Dubai to receive her award at Dubai's Museum of the Future, in this the first time that Time 100 was staged outside the US.

Proudly representing India on the global map both in endeavour and attire, the stunning superstar sported a saree by Sabyasachi Mukherjee. The actor chose a sheer pearl white saree for the occasion. The six yards are embellished with floral threadwork, sequined embellishments, embroidered Patti work on the borders, and a floor-sweeping pallu with white feathers.

 

 

The glistening six yards were paired with a sleeveless blouse by the Bajirao Mastani actress. It had a plunging neck and back, a short midriff-baring hem, and a fitted bodice with golden sequin embellishments all over. The actor's accessories were a pearl and Kundan-encrusted gold choker necklace, pearl drop earrings, and jewelled brown heels.

 

 

Deepika enhanced her red-carpet appearance by wearing her hair in a sleeked back and dishevelled bun and wearing smokey eye shadow, sleek eyeliner, mascara-adorned lashes, luminous complexion, reddened cheeks, and nude lip colour.

 

 

On the work front, Deepika Padukone will next star alongside Prabhas and Amitabh Bachchan in Nag Ashwin’s next, The Intern remake, a Hollywood movie, and Fighter.
