BH OTT India Fest 2025: Milind Soman on being objectified on the sets of Four More Shots Please!: "I felt very objectified but..."

Milind Soman, widely known for his iconic modelling career and fitness persona, recently opened up about an unexpected aspect of his experience on Four More Shots Please! during a conversation at the Bollywood Hungama OTT Fest 2025. The actor revealed that, despite his long-standing comfort in front of the camera, he actually felt objectified while working on the popular web series.

Reflecting on his time on the show, Soman admitted that the experience stood out from his previous work. “It was nice, and it was very strange,” he shared. He explained that the set had a unique energy because it was entirely led by women. “In Four More Shots, they’re all women—the whole crew is women, the directors are women, the producers are women. So I felt very objectified, but in a good way.”

 

Soman recalled that the first scene the production team sent him was from the show’s early years. “They sent me the first scene from Season 1, though I think this is Season 4 now,” he said with amusement. The scene required him to walk down a boardroom table in just his underwear as part of a character’s dream sequence.

 

“I asked them, ‘What kind of show is this?’” he said, laughing. “They told me, ‘This is how the woman dreams about you. She sees you like this.’ And I said, ‘Okay, I’ll do it.’”

 

According to Soman, stepping into bold or unconventional scenes had never discouraged him. “I’ve always done things like that,” he said. “When I did modelling in the ’90s—even naked shoots—people wouldn’t be shocked. I’ve always been okay doing something if I find it interesting and if it’s something I’ve tried before.”

 

Despite his comfort with experimental roles, he emphasized that he avoids repeating similar characters. “I try to never repeat a character or role,” he explained. This desire for variety made his time on the show particularly refreshing. “So Four More Shots Please! was wonderful,” he concluded.

 

With his candid reflections and understated humour, Milind Soman offered an honest and engaging look into what made his experience on the hit series both surprising and memorable.
