25 years of Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge: Mandira Bedi does a 25 year challenge; asks the cast to take up the challenge

Today, the film Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge completed 25 years of release. While the story of Raj and Simran is the highlight of the film, it could not have become what it is today without its supporting characters. Mandira Bedi played the role of Preeti Singh in the movie.

Preeti Singh was the coy sister of Kuljeet played by Parmeet Sethi who was to marry Simran. Preeti is shown to have a crush on Shah Rukh Khan's character Raj and attempts to flirt with him. On Tuesday, Mandira shared a then and now picture of herself, highlighting how much she has changed over the years.

 

Sharing the collage, Bedi wrote, "#25yearchallenge !!! It’s wonderful to have been a part of a film that has made cinema history on many counts.I have changed a lot, life has changed a lot. Rest of the star cast including Shah Rukh Khan, Kajol, Anupam Kher, Anaita Shroff Adajania and others have been sharing pictures and videos from the film to mark the occasion.
