This week as we gear up for a festive weekend, we see the release of the Shahid Kapoor - Alia Bhatt starrer SHAANDAAR. Touted to be India's first ever destination wedding film, it has managed to generate quite a bit of hype leading up to its release.

Reports suggest that SHAANDAAR has recorded approximately 45-55% occupancy rate during the morning shows. With this good start, SHAANDAAR that features a fresh pairing of Shahid and Alia is expected to pick up gradually.
On the whole, SHAANDAAR that appeals to the younger generation will see a steady rise in business over the weekend. With little to no competition, the film looks set to post a handsome total both on the Opening Day and the Opening Weekend.
