Pathaan Box Office: Film emerges as Siddharth Anand’s third film to enter the Rs 100 crores club

The Siddharth Anand-directed film Pathaan was released a day ago and since then the film has been doing roaring business at the box office. Starring Shah Rukh Khan, Deepika Padukone, and John Abraham, the film, which was released across 5500 screens in the domestic market, has managed to wow the audience and critics alike. After taking a flying start with Rs. 57 crores (Hindi Rs. 55 cr + Tamil & Telugu Rs. 2 cr) coming in on its opening day, the business of Pathaan saw exponential growth on its second day.

Collecting a further Rs. 68 crores on Day 2, the total collections of Pathaan have now made it past the Rs. 100 crores mark in just 2 days of its release. With this, director Siddharth Anand now has three films viz. Pathaan, War, and Bang Bang have managed to enter the coveted Rs. 100 crores club. Interestingly, Pathaan has collected Rs. 123 crores in just 2 days, emerging as the director’s fastest Rs. 100 crores grosser.

 

As of now, Pathaan continues its box office march at an unstoppable pace. In fact, trade estimates claim that Pathaan will see further growth over its first Saturday and Sunday running and will in all likelihood cross even the Rs. 200 crores mark by the end of its opening weekend.
