The much talked about and keenly anticipated Christopher Nolan directorial Oppenheimer hit screens last week on Friday. Starring Cillian Murphy, Florence Pugh, Robert Downey Jr., and Emily Blunt the film took a thunderous start with certain location even featuring shows starting as early as 3 AM. If that wasn’t enough, certain IMAX screens featured hiked ticket prices. But did the hype surrounding the film and the high-ticket prices translate into box office collections is the question.

However, the business of the film does not manage to surpass previous releases like Avengers: Endgame which collected Rs. 53.10 cr, Avatar: The Way of Water which collected Rs. 40 cr, Spider-Man - No Way Home which collected 32.67 cr, Avngers: Infinity War which collected Rs. 31.30 cr, Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness which collected Rs. 28.35 cr, and Thor: Love And Thunder that had collected Rs. 18.20 cr.

 

Currently, Oppenheimer has been enjoying incredible trending and continues to see growth. Based on this trade predictions state that the business of Oppenheimer will continue to grow over the weekend and its first week running.
