Box Office: Judwaa 2 beats Toilet – Ek Prem Katha; becomes the 4th highest Week one grosser of 2017

 

The Varun Dhawan, Jacqueline Fernandez and Taapsee Pannu starrer Judwaa 2 has been doing brisk business since its release. In this box office report we take a look at the opening week collections of Judwaa 2 while comparing the same to previous releases of 2017. Collecting Rs. 98.08 cr. Varun Dhawan’s Judwaa 2 manages out beat the collections of Akshay Kumar’s film Toilet – Ek Prem Katha that had collected Rs. 96.05 cr to become the fourth highest opening week grosser of 2017. If that was all, the collections of Judwaa 2 also manage to surpass other releases as well like, Kaabil that collected Rs. 82.18 cr, Jolly LLB 2 that collected Rs. 77.71 cr, Badrinath Ki Dulhania that collected Rs. 73.29 cr, Baadshaho that collected Rs. 64.14 cr, Jab Harry Met Sejal Rs. 59.75 cr, and Half Girlfriend that had collected Rs. 49.19 cr.

 

However, Judwaa 2 does not manage to out beat other previous releases like Baahubali 2 - The Conclusion that collected Rs. 247 cr, Raees that collected Rs. 118.36 cr and Tubelight that collected Rs. 106.86 cr.
