Box Office: Fan fails to beat Airlift in Week 1 collections of 2016

 

The much talked about and highly anticipated Maneesh Sharma directed Shah Rukh Khan starrer Fan released last week. However, despite the hype surrounding the film, the response at the box-Box Office: Fan fails to beat Airlift in Week 1 collections of 2016

 

office has been rather lukewarm.

 

In this box office report, we take a look at the Opening Weekend collections of Fan while comparing them to the previous releases of 2016. Though the film manages to come in second

 

collecting Rs. 71.50 cr, it fails to surpass the Akshay Kumar - Nimrat Kaur starrer Airlift that collected Rs. 78.5 cr. However, Fan does manage to fare better than other releases
