Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 Box Office: Kartik Aaryan starrer emerges as fourth highest first Monday grosser of 2022

The Kartik Aaryan starrer Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 was released last week on Friday. Hitting 3200 screens in the domestic market the Anees Bazmee directorial produced by Bhushan Kumar and Murad Khetani opened on a stellar note. After drawing in Rs. 14.11 cr on its opening day the business of the film saw immense growth in collections over its opening weekend with Rs. 55.96 cr coming in. No on its first Monday, the business of the film has managed to retain a hold at the box office.

Leading the film are the previous releases KGF – Chapter 2 which collected Rs. 25.57 cr, RRR which collected Rs. 17 cr, and The Kashmir Files which collected Rs. 15.05 cr. However, the business of Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 on its first Monday does manage to surpass the collections of other releases like Gangubai Kathiawadi which collected Rs. 8.19 cr, Bachchhan Paandey which collected Rs. 3.37 cr, and Runway 34 which collected Rs. 2.25 cr amongst others.

 

Going forward, the business of Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 is expected to see further growth over its first week in theatres. With total collections pegged at Rs. 66.71 cr the film is likely to cross the Rs. 100 cr mark by the end of the week. In fact, trade predictions are highly optimistic about the performance of Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 stating that it will certainly emerge as a super hit.
