Vashu Bhagnani to launches Shaadi No. 1 music in train
Ravi Chopra has never directed a film for another producer. Right from ZAMEER to BAGHBAN to the in-the-making BAABUL, the veteran film-maker has made films for his home concern B.R. Films. But he has agreed to direct a film for producer Sangeeta Ahir, who took her first step as film producer with VAAH! LIFE HO TOH AISI.
Sangeeta sounds excited about the project. Yes, Ravi-ji has agreed to direct our next venture, but everything is in the initial stages currently, the classy producer reveals. While Chopra is in the midst of BAABUL, one presumes hell start work on the new project once hes through with its filming.
While on Sangeeta, you cant help but ask her about her experiences as a first-time producer now that VAAH! LIFE HO TOH AISI has released. It was a good learning experience. But where most producers falter is in mathematics. If we get the arithmetic of film-making right, I am sure the producers would be a happy and prosperous lot, she smiles.
The special effects in VAAH! LIFE HO TOH AISI did cost the producer a hefty packet. Yes, it did. In fact, I couldve easily signed Salman Khan for the amount I spent on the visual effects, she laughs, But if the subject demands that I spend an x amount, its not right to cut corners. True!
