Now this is 'Breaking News'! Everyone knows that Farhan Akhtar and his producer-partner Ritesh Sidhwani are planning to remake the yesteryear blockbuster DON [Big B, Zeenat Aman]. But there's a twist in the tale Producer Gordhan Tanwani, maker of ISHQ, DULHAN HUM LE JAAYENGE, TUMKO NA BHOOL PAAYENGE and TAARZAN: THE WONDER CAR, has informed this writer that his company has acquired the remaking rights of the film from Nariman Pictures, the producers of DON. So, when is Tanwani starting the film? Not decided yet. In fact, nothing - not the star cast, not the director - is decided so far, the soft-spoken producer informs me on late Friday evening. With Tanwani officially acquiring the rights, let's see what Farhan and Ritesh plan to make next!
