Suneel's tackling obsession this time

Suneel Darshan is upbeat about his film MERE JEEVAN SAATHI, which stars Akshay Kumar, Karisma Kapoor and Amisha Patel in the lead. The film is my interpretation of an emotion called obsession. This emotion has been depicted in several films in the past, like DARR and DARAAR. With this as the basic premise, I've woven the story in an innovative style, he shares. The title song of the film is currently being shot on an impressive set constructed at Film City. It is the introduction of Akshay Kumar, who plays a rock dancer performing at a stage show. We plan to make the film on a grand scale. This set itself has cost a crore of rupees, he reveals. On the cards are some projects in the planning stages and the directorial debut of fashion designer Manish Malhotra.
