Simple wedding for Madhur

It was a simple wedding, attended by family members and very close friends of the couple. Hi-profile director Madhur Bhandarkar, a regular Page 3 name, married interior designer Renu Namboodri on Monday, December 15 at Khar Gymkhana, Khar. Present on the occasion were Jaya Bachchan, Subhash Ghai, Ramesh Sippy and wife Kiran, Poonam Sinha, top cop Javed Ahmed, politicians Rajiv Shukla and Sanjay Nirupam, Jaidev Thackeray, leading lawyer Satish Manashinde, Yusuf Lakdawala, Jackie Shroff, Tabu, Jhamu Sughand, Gautam Singhania, Pervez Damania, Gaffarbhai Nadiadwala, Firoz Nadiadwala, Mushtaq Nadiadwala, Abhigyan Prakash, Uttam Bose [Sahara], Mumbai distributors Shyam Shroff, Raj Lalchandani and Guru Shenoy, Mona Kapoor, designer Anna Singh, Raageshwari, Rajpal Yadav, Jagmohan Mundhra, Krishna Shah, Rafi Kazi As for the media, only a handful of names were spotted. However, Madhur and Renu aren't leaving for a honeymoon. It's back to work from Wednesday. The scripting of PAGE 3 is in progress, I am writing the pre-climax part, Madhur tells us.
