Rajkumar Santoshi is toying with the idea of making MAHABHARAT. "Yes, I've been approached by Ramoji Rao Studios, Hyderabad, to make the film," he told me at an exclusive screening of his latest flick LAJJA on Tuesday night (August 28), which was attended by Santoshi's close friends.
In fact, Santoshi had decided against keeping any screenings of LAJJA, except for his close friends. This writer was the sole journalist invited by the maker for the screening, which was attended by an august gathering. Meanwhile, Santoshi has voluntarily trimmed LAJJA by 18 minutes before the release. Thus, the final length is 3.05 hours (this writer has witnessed the uncut version of 3.23 hours!).
