Priyanka Chopra signed as the brand ambassador for Nokia
Rumour : There is talk that you are no longer handling Priyanka Chopra's career. Knowing that you had formed a celebrity management company to launch her career, the news of your parting ways does come as a surprise. Also, could you also tell us whether you are planning to start a film?
Prakash Jaju : There were absolutely no hard feelings between Priyanka and me. I had initially signed a one-year contract with her, which expired recently, so we decided to part cordially. In any case, she has gained a foothold in the industry, which I wanted to ensure. I still continue to be her family friend and she can seek my guidance whenever she wants to. As for the celebrity management company, I have taken over the responsibility of a few more artistes. There's also a leading actress from South, Meena, whom I am planning to launch in a big way in a leading Hindi banner. But I have no plans of getting into film production. My first experience in production, in partnership with Jackie Shroff, has taught me that production is a taxing experience. In any case, I am actively involved in organising finance for several projects and don't see the need to get into production at the moment.
