Priyadarshan is one of the busiest directors around. In fact, theres always a queue of producers ready to sign the talented director all year round. Priyan, who is riding high after the success of GARAM MASALA [KYON KI is a closed chapter], is all set to direct Popcorn and Shree Ashtavinayak Cinevisions joint venture, which will star Akshay Kumar and Govinda in lead roles. The third hero [is it Suniel Shetty?] is under finalization. Also signed are Lara Dutta and Sameera Reddy. Is it a remake? Partly, Dhaval Jatania of Shree Ashtavinayak Cinevision confirms, Part remake, part original. The film, not titled yet, is expected to take off on March 1.
