Big B is Ever-ready for commercials

He has done that again. The rate at which Big B is signing movies and ad assignments is simply amazing. So after signing the 100-million deal with Emami, Amitabh Bachchan has now signed a deal with Eveready Industries Ltd. The Eveready dry cell segment will whet up its sales with Amitabh promoting its batteries on the television and other media advertisements. Deepak Khaitan of Eveready confirmed the news at a press conference on Monday though he refused to divulge details on the amount of the deal struck. It is a 2-year deal wherein Amitabh will only promote the company's batteries and not it's other product - tea. Bachchan will not make any public appearance at events nor his image will be used on the product packaging. However his picture will be used on Eveready distribution vans.
