Another changeover in Deewane Hue Paagal crew

A couple of months back we informed you that Feroz Nadiadwala went for a colossal changeover in the cast and crew of his next planned film Deewana Hue Pagal, launched earlier this year, even before it went on floors. Lead actor Anil Kapoor and director Ahmed Khan were replaced by Akshay Kumar and director David Dhawan in the film and even the story of the film was completely changed. Shahid Kapoor continued to be a part of the project while Suniel Shetty and Rajpal Yadav were added to the film. Now there's again a changeover in the crew of the same film. This time director David Dhawan has been replaced by director Vikram Bhatt. While Ahmed Khan was reportedly ousted from the project because his first attempt at direction - Lakeer went dud at the box-office and so artistes were hesitant to work with him, David has been replaced because of date problems. After the success of Mujhse Shaadi Karogi, David is currently busy with Sohail Khan's next production (starring Salman Khan, Katrina Kaif, Sushmita Sen, Arshad Warsi) and has signed Vashu Bhagnani's Shaadi No.1 (starring Sanjay Dutt, Fardeen Khan, Zayed Khan, Sharman Joshi) to start in December. However since Feroz Nadiadwala too wanted to start his film in November, which clashed with David's schedules, the producer opted for director Vikram Bhatt to take charge of his film. Vikram Bhatt had earlier directed Awara Paagal Deewana for Feroz Nadiadwala. Lets just hope that this time the crew of the film remains more consistent.
