'Andaaz' director's next with Akki
Akshay Kumar is going from strength to strength. Besides signing the best of projects and winning acclaim for his performances in KHAKEE and MUJHSE SHAADI KAROGI in particular, the actor has given his consent to one more prime project, to be directed by Raj Kanwar.
Kanwar and Akshay were instrumental in delivering one of the biggest hits of 2003 - ANDAAZ. Any other director in Kanwar's place would've grabbed at least half-a-dozen assignments subsequently, but the talented director decided to take it easy.
Back to their new project: The film, a solo hero fare, will co-star two leading ladies. Bhushan Kumar and Krishen Kumar of Super Cassettes Industries Ltd. will co-produce the film with Kanwar. It is expected to roll in January 2005.
