Anand Raaj Anand steps in Viju Shah's shoes:

After winning praises for his work in JIS DESH MEIN GANGA REHTA HAI, Anand Raaj Anand seems to have got a fresh lease. The latest on his front is that Anand Raaj Anand has replaced Viju Shah in Sudhir Mishra's Anil-Manisha-Rani starrer RAKT. In fact, Viju Shah had even recorded three songs for the film, we are told. We contacted Anand Raaj Anand to verify the news and he confirmed that the producers had indeed signed him. "But let me clarify that it was not my desire to replace anyone. If I refuse a project, the producer is likely to go elsewhere. So why should I refuse it?," he stated. Anand adds that he doesn't mind sharing the credits with another music composer, "All I want is that I should get the due credit for the songs I compose."
