Akbar - Kim clash over Taj Mahal

Shahjahan's wonder of the world monument Taj Mahal took decades to reach its final beauty. Akbar Khan's magnanimous opus is left no behind. The project launched way back in February 2002 was proposed to be completed by May 2003 but is still under production. And this delay in the filmmaking is taking its toll. Actress Kim Sharma who plays Laadli Begum in the film has not reported for shoot at Filmcity since May 4. Khan has reported of Kim's unprofessional behavior to the AMTPP (and surprisingly the board received this complaint on April 30 itself). However Kim has a different story to say and retorts that she had allotted 20 shooting days to Akbar Khan. Moreover her contract expired way back in 2002. She concludes saying she can be available for shoot only after May 20 since she has to give preference to other important projects as well.
