Anupam Kher and Anil Kapoor's 25-year old dosti is about to turn into rishtedaari. In a quietly conducted ceremony on Friday, Anupam's son Sikandar got engaged to Anil's wife Sunita Kapoor's sister's daughter.
Says Anupam, "Yes, you heard right. Sikandar is engaged to Priya Singh who is Sunita's sister's daughter. They make a compatible and easygoing couple. My wife Kirron and I are very happy for the couple."
Anupam was aware of the growing fondness between the couple. "But you know how today's kids are? They didn't want their relationship to be made public until they were sure of their feelings for each other. I wish them all happiness."
About his new rishtedaari with his buddy Anil, Anupam chuckles, "I've known Anil for so long, we've become a like a habit for one another. He is in any case like a member of my family and I a member of his family. Iss se koi farq nahin padta."
