The makers of Teri Meri Kahaani have come up with a unique strategy to promote the film. The film's leading pair Shahid Kapoor and Priyanka Chopra will host a qawwali party and hasya kavi sammelan in Delhi later this month, to promote their film. The party will see a boys versus girls competition between Shahid and Priyanka's teams, comprising their fans.
In the film, in the 1910 segment, Shahid and Priyanka belong to Lahore and converse with each other in an amusing shayariana andaaz. Since the reaction to the trailer of the film has been very positive, the makers decided to have a mushaira contest in the Capital. Shahid and Priyanka's fans will also join the contest. The participants will also be selected through a contest.
Shahid-Priyanka to host qawwali partyDelhi has been chosen as the venue as it is the heartland of Hindi. The event date and venue is yet to be locked.
