The project also holds personal value for Ashish, as it connects with a long-held wish from his early Mumbai days and his admiration for TVF as a banner known for strong storytelling.
The actor shared that the offer felt special from the beginning. The reason was clear to him. The Pyramid Scheme came from TVF, a banner he had admired for years. Speaking about his first response, Ashish Raghava said exclusively, “The very first time when Atul and Amit approached me for this project, I was very excited. I really wanted to audition for it because we all have heard about TVF. They have made such good and legendary projects, and I've been watching them for a long time. I am a big fan.”
For Ashish, the audition was not just another professional step. It carried hope and personal meaning. The actor said knowing it was a TVF project made him want the role even more. He added, “When I got to know that this is a TVF project, I really wanted to be a part of it.”
Ashish Raghava then went through the usual casting process. He auditioned for the part and waited for feedback. Remembering that phase, Ashish said, “I gave the audition, and after that Atul called me and told me that they really liked me and I got shortlisted for the project. I had very high hopes because it felt like a manifestation. I wanted this very badly.”
The final confirmation made the moment even more memorable for the actor. Ashish said, “Then one day, I got to know that I was locked for the project. I was on cloud nine that day. It made me very, very happy.”
The actor also looked back at his early time in Mumbai. TVF had stayed in his mind as a space known for strong work. That made The Pyramid Scheme more than a regular role for him. It became a chance to join a team he deeply respected.
Ashish explained, “I'll tell you one thing, TVF is something that was always in my mind when I came to Mumbai. At that time, the only place where I knew really good work was happening was TVF. So when I got selected for it, it was a very surreal moment for me.”
For Ashish Raghava, accepting The Pyramid Scheme was never a difficult choice. As he said, “There is no chance I could ever say no to a project made by TVF. It's not just about the fact that it is being produced by them but honestly, for TVF, it's always a yes for me.”
