Actor Upendra Chauhan has spoken about his experience of working with Sonakshi Sinha on the movie System, and shared how her discipline, professionalism and warm nature made a lasting impression on him during the shoot.
Upendra is seen playing Inspector Ravi Rathi, aka Rathi, in System — a sharp Haryanvi cop who plays a crucial role in investigating and manipulating the entire case. The character brings a strong screen presence to the narrative and is one of the key elements driving the story forward.
Talking about Sonakshi’s work ethic, Upendra exclusively said that despite being one of the biggest names on the set, she carried herself with complete ease and made everyone around her feel comfortable. “Working with Sonakshi Sinha on System was a really good experience. One thing I genuinely admired about her was her discipline and professionalism. She would always come on time, fully prepared, and still keep the atmosphere on set very relaxed and comfortable for everyone around her,” he shared.
Upendra further spoke about how collaborative Sonakshi was as a performer and how involved she remained during scenes. According to him, she was always attentive to the director’s vision and supportive towards her co-actors, which created a positive environment on set.
“What I liked the most was how inclusive she is as a co-actor. She listens carefully to the director, stays completely present in the scene, and is very supportive towards fellow actors. She’s also not afraid of making mistakes or trying different things during a scene, which creates a very healthy creative environment on set,” he added.
Sharing a light-hearted behind-the-scenes memory, Upendra recalled one habit of Sonakshi that everyone on set found relatable and amusing. “I like how sometimes she used to confirm before the scene if her feet would be visible, so that she could continue wearing her comfortable white slippers for as long as possible,” he said with a laugh.
System features Sonakshi Sinha in a pivotal role and has already been generating buzz among audiences.
