Amid the success of Sapne Vs Everyone Season 2 on Prime Video, TVF founder Arunabh Kumar has taken to Instagram to share a heartfelt post celebrating the show and its creator-actor Ambrish Verma.
Reflecting on the journey from the show’s inception to its current success, Kumar wrote, “You are a RARE storyteller and even a rarer actor who has created this rare masterpiece. I have seen you reject the biggest offers and easiest money so that you can give your best to your story.”
He traced the show’s origins back to 2018-2019, when Ambrish first joined TVF as a sales executive before taking the plunge as an actor, writer, and director. Kumar also revealed that the concept of Sapne Vs Everyone took shape during the COVID-19 period, when TVF was going through a difficult phase. “I was trying to save a sinking TVF in Covid and thought why not get Amby to come back to TVF-Timeliners,” he wrote.
Responding on his Instagram story, Ambrish Verma wrote, “Thank you for making Sapne happen sir! Grateful forever.”
Sapne Vs Everyone follows two obsessive dreamers, played by Ambrish Verma and Paramvir Singh Cheema, as they navigate ambition, morality, and each other’s resistance. Written, directed by, and starring Ambrish Verma, and produced by Arunabh Kumar under The Viral Fever, the show features in its Top 250 TV Shows list. Both seasons are available to stream on Prime Video.
