Actor and humanitarian Sonu Sood is set to be a part of the upcoming Billionaires for Peace Conclave, which will take place in Mumbai on May 21, 2026. The actor, along with his Sood Charity Foundation, has joined the event as a distinguished partner for its latest edition, further strengthening his continued association with social impact initiatives.

The conclave, organised by the I Am Peacekeeper Movement (IAPM), will be hosted at the Grand Hyatt Mumbai and is expected to bring together several global leaders, Nobel Laureates, philanthropists, business figures, policymakers, and changemakers focused on peace, sustainability, and human dignity.
Sonu Sood has built a strong reputation beyond cinema for his humanitarian work, particularly during the COVID-19 pandemic, when his large-scale relief efforts received nationwide recognition. His contribution also earned him the United Nations UNDP SDG Special Humanitarian Action Award.
Speaking about joining hands with the Billionaires for Peace Conclave, Sonu Sood said, “Being part of the Billionaires for Peace Conclave is very close to my heart, because it’s not just about conversations, it’s about responsibility. Over the years, I’ve realised that real change doesn’t come from how much you have, but from how willing you are to show up for someone who needs you. Through the Sood Charity Foundation, we’ve tried to build that mindset every day where helping people is not an occasional act, but a continuous commitment. Platforms like this bring together people who have the power to influence millions, and if that influence is directed towards compassion and action, the impact can be far-reaching. I truly believe peace begins when we start caring for each other in small, consistent ways and that’s something each one of us can do, starting now.”
The actor has often spoken about making kindness and giving a way of life. He has previously advocated for “Giving” to be taught as a dedicated subject in schools alongside traditional academic subjects, underlining his belief that compassion should be nurtured early.
Founded by Sonu Sood, the Sood Charity Foundation has worked extensively across education, healthcare, career development, and disaster relief, helping underserved communities across India. The foundation’s grassroots initiatives have further expanded the actor’s influence beyond entertainment.
The event is also expected to feature several notable attendees, including Nobel Peace Prize Laureates Kailash Satyarthi, Leymah Roberta Gbowee, Mohan Munasinghe, and Houcine Abassi.
Speaking about the conclave, Dr. Huzaifa Khorakiwala said, “The Billionaires for Peace Conclave is about aligning influence with intent. With Nobel Laureates and global leaders coming together, Mumbai offers a powerful platform to drive meaningful conversations and real-world impact toward peace and sustainability.”
Other distinguished names expected at the event include Dr. Ramdas Athawale, Savji Dholakia, Motilal Oswal, and Margarita Louis-Dreyfus.
With Sonu Sood’s presence adding a celebrity and humanitarian dimension, the conclave is set to draw significant attention ahead of its Mumbai edition.
