Actor Mona Singh has entered 2026 with a packed line-up of projects, including Happy Patel, Border 2, Subedaar, Maa Ka Sum and Kohrra 2. With projects across different genres and platforms, the actor says the current phase feels like the result of years of careful choices.
Reflecting on her journey, Mona said, “I've been working for a long time, and have always tried to choose work that excites me. Sometimes it works, sometimes it takes time. Right now, it feels like a lot of those choices are coming together.”
Her slate for the year includes a mix of film and streaming titles, highlighting the changing nature of the entertainment industry where actors are increasingly working across formats. Speaking about how the rise of streaming platforms has changed opportunities for performers, Mona shared, “Earlier, there were very clear boxes for us: TV actors and film actors. But now those lines don't really exist.”
She added, “For me, it has always been about the work, not the medium. So, I don't think my approach has changed much, but the possibilities definitely have and that's exciting.”
