The makers of Bhooth Bangla have unveiled their third track, ‘O Sundari’, adding a fresh emotional layer to the film’s music album. Featuring Akshay Kumar, Mithila Palkar, and Wamiqa Gabbi, the song places the spotlight on a warm sibling bond while setting a celebratory, wedding-themed tone.
‘O Sundari’ is presented by Zee Music Company, with music composed by Pritam and lyrics penned by Kumaar. The track is brought to life by the voices of Vishal Mishra, Nakash Aziz, and Antara Mitra, blending melody with a festive vibe.
The song revolves around Mithila Palkar’s character, who is portrayed as a bride-to-be, with Akshay Kumar and Wamiqa Gabbi celebrating her journey in a heartfelt manner. At its core, the track captures the affection and camaraderie between siblings, offering a softer, more emotional glimpse into the narrative.
The release of ‘O Sundari’ comes shortly after the film’s trailer, which generated positive responses for its mix of humour and nostalgia. One of the standout moments from the trailer was a playful recreation of the iconic “Behen darr gayi” sequence, reimagined to highlight the bond between Akshay and Mithila’s characters. The new song builds on that connection, providing further insight into their relationship within the film.
With earlier tracks like ‘Ram ji Aake Bhala Karenge’ and ‘Tu Hi Disda’ already gaining traction, ‘O Sundari’ adds variety to the film’s soundtrack, bringing in a wedding flavour that complements its overall tone.
Directed by Priyadarshan, Bhooth Bangla marks his reunion with Akshay Kumar after 14 years, a collaboration that has previously delivered several popular comedies. The film is produced by Ekta Kapoor and Shobha Kapoor under Balaji Motion Pictures, in association with Cape of Good Films.
The ensemble cast also includes Paresh Rawal, Rajpal Yadav, Tabu, Rajesh Sharma, and the late Asrani. Bhooth Bangla is set to begin paid previews on April 16 from 9 pm onwards, followed by its theatrical release on April 17, 2026.
